Who is Bryan Dilionnis?

Bryan Dilionnis metal guitarist, 7 string guitar

Bryan Dilionnis is a Puerto Rican guitarist, composer and producer with a career spanning more than two decades and an unusually wide range of musical disciplines.

His work has taken him from writing, recording and touring with some of Latin music’s most recognized artists to technical death metal, flamenco, orchestral composition, film and video game scoring. That range has shaped a musical language that is distinctly his own, built on years of studying, performing and creating across genres.

At the center of his work is Violent Horror System, an ongoing five-album saga and perhaps the clearest expression of Bryan as a composer: complex, uncompromising, and created without the boundaries of genre.

VIOLENT HORROR SYSTEM

Five albums. One evolving body of work.

Violent Horror System is Bryan Dilionnis at his most unrestricted.

What began in 2020 has grown into a five-album saga, each chapter pushing further into technical death metal, progressive composition, orchestral writing, flamenco, and the unexpected influences Bryan has collected throughout his career.

Written as a continuing body of work rather than a collection of standalone records, VHS is where Bryan’s worlds collide: extreme music and classical composition, precision and chaos, complexity and melody.

More than anything, it is a project built without compromise. No genre requirements. No formula. Just an idea taken as far as Bryan can push it.

A MUSICIAN IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.

For more than two decades, Bryan Dilionnis has built a career across both the stage and the studio as a touring and studio guitarist, composer, arranger, producer and music director.

His work has taken him around the world, performing, recording and creating alongside some of Latin music’s most recognized artists, including Ricky Martin, Shakira, Marc Anthony, Ricardo Arjona, Ednita Nazario, Alejandra Guzmán, among many others. His career spans international tours and major live productions as naturally as it does studio sessions, writing rooms, records and original composition.

As a touring musician, Bryan has spent years adapting to different artists, productions and musical styles while bringing his own unmistakable musicianship to the stage. In the studio, his work extends well beyond guitar, encompassing composition, arrangement and production from the earliest ideas through the finished record.

That range has become a defining part of his career. Latin pop, rock, metal, flamenco, orchestral composition, film and video games may occupy very different musical worlds, but Bryan has spent his life moving between them.
